Girard Perregaux Fiat 30th Anniversary

Girard-Perregaux, founded in 1791, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Swiss watchmaking houses, renowned for its dedication to innovation and artisanal excellence. With over two centuries of history, the manufacture has contributed significantly to the development of fine watchmaking, while maintaining an identity firmly rooted in tradition.

The Girard-Perregaux reference 49480 watch is a special edition created to celebrate 30 years of service of FIAT employees. Produced in a limited series, this automatic chronograph combines Swiss precision with an important symbolic value linked to Italian industrial history. The stainless steel case measures 38 mm in diameter with a thickness of approximately 13 mm and is water resistant to 3 ATM. The automatic movement, based on the ETA 2894-2 caliber with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module, guarantees precision and reliability. The silvered dial with sunray finish houses three chronograph counters, a tachometric scale, applied indexes and blued hands with red accents on the counters and on the edge of the minute scale. The crystal is sapphire and the strap is black crocodile leather with a steel buckle. The case back is engraved with the words “30 Anni in Fiat”, a distinctive element that underlines the commemorative nature of the watch. This model was distributed exclusively to FIAT employees who had reached thirty years of career.
